As far as I know, "Fairest" doesn't have a sequel yet. It was only released recently, so its still possible (and with the state of publishing right now, probable). Another good book by Levine is "The Two Princesses of Barramre", which is due for a sequel within a year. Glad to hear you enjoyed the books!

I have now read "Peter Pan and the Starcatchers", btw, and really liked it. More on that when I am done with my reveiw, but thanks for recommending it!

Hehehe, I was volunteering at an elementary school library, and just noticed it as a new Gail Carlson Levine book. I didn't even think about it not being in bookstores until you mentioned it, though I think its available now. Glad you noticed, now I'll keep an eye out!

Glad you liked the movie, though. The author of both books is known for her fairy tales, and has a series of short books on the subject that, if you have the time, are quite funny.

I really enjoyed the movie "Ella Enchanted." Of course, I have always had a soft spot in my heart for fairy tales. How did you find this book if it was just published? I'll have to keep an eye out for it.

On the front of rewritten fairy tales, have you read "Peter and the Star Catchers?" We have a review on this site. If anyone else has read the sequel, I would love to hear how it is via a review....
