Great review!
I liked all your points.
And the holiday dubbed "Saint Patrick’s Day," is not, as most people believe, about leprecons and pots of gold, rainbows etc.
But about a man called Patrick, who was taken from his home land of England and sold into slavery by the Irish to the Irish. Many years later he escapes and returns to England, he later receives a vision telling him to go back and preach the gospel to all of Ireland. Obedient to his God, Patrick first goes and studies much more about the Christian faith, and then goes to Ireland and preaches the gospel. The reign of the Druid priests, who had been dominating Ireland for some time, comes to and end.
It is a fascinating story, I heard it from some cassette tapes made by Focus on the family, it was on their Odyssey tapes, it is called "Patrick: A heart of fir." They retell it wonderfully, if there are any copies around still I encourage all to listen to it.
